Yang Mi and Hawick Lau have formally announced that they filed for divorce earlier this year. It was a mutual agreement and they will remain friends as they raise their daughter together.
Yang Mi and Hawick Lau started dating after filming Ruyi together in 2011. They got married in Bali in January 2014, and their daughter was born in June 2014. Although they used to make public appearances together often, it was very rare this year, so there was already speculation that they were divorced.
