It’s the on-screen reunion we’ve all been waiting for! Marcus Chang and Eugenie Liu will be reuniting in the new drama Trick or Love which premieres on June 19. Eugenie Lui will be playing the role of Liang Jing Cen, a baker whose family runs a bakery. One day, the landlord unexpectedly tells them he sold the building they rent for their bakery. Unfortunately, the Liang family is unable to come up with the funds to buy the building. Marcus Chang will be playing the role of Guan Heng Wei, a CEO whose grandmother sets him up on dates every week. In order to get his grandmother to stop, he asks Liang Jing Cen to pretend to be his boyfriend for three months and offers to pay her enough money that will cover the cost of the bakery. She agrees to the deal, but little does she know, everything is a part of his elaborate plan to get revenge.

The reunion I’ve been waiting for!! Eugenie is absolutely adorable switching back and forth. I am so entertained by both in these roles, the androgynous Jing Cen and eccentric Heng Wei (especially a delight seeing Marcus’ go all out on expressions). So much fun!
