SETTV held a press conference today for its upcoming daily drama Better Man (我的極品男友 literally translates to “My Best Quality Boyfriend“), starring Lin Yo Wei, Tender Huang, and Jolin Chien. They will play three brothers who are of the “best quality” and don’t think much about love or marriage until they get swept up in relationships. Lin Yo Wei’s character will be in a relationship with a woman who is much younger; Tender Huang’s will be in a relationship with a woman who is his age; and Jolin Chien’s will be in a relationship with an older woman. My Best Quality Boyfriend will premiere in June after The Love Song finishes its run.
This sounds like a good drama that will explore the nuances of each type of relationship in terms of age differences. I’m glad it’s a daily drama since that means there will be more episodes to fully flesh out each relationship. What are your thoughts?
