As you point out, this song became very well-known via the Taiwanese gay love drama “Make Our Days Count” which aired in late 2019. The song was heard each week at the end of each episode. The series charted the intensely romantic love storiew of two male couples, and (spoiler alert!) one partner in one of the couples dies suddenly and mysteriously in the final episode: thus for many viewers around the world who got hooked on the story, it is forever associated with Hao Ting’s heartbreaking loss of Xi Gu. I myself heard Arrow Wei sing it live at a concert in Taipei on Friday 20 December 2019, in conjunction with the release of her new album 夜空裡的光. I’ve tried to create a singable English-language version which scans with the melody – see below. I’m still working on it … it doesn’t quite work as yet. I wrote to Arrow Wei via email – but didn’t get a reply 😦
